Orderd enchiladas,tamales beans,rice ,sopas,chips and salsa. For our christmas dinner. Don Diego's did not disappoint!!! We will be using them again. Thank you to all the restaurant for the great service and food

Driving back to Arizona from Grants NM and wanted some New Mexican food . This place did not disappoint the food is so delicious, good portions prices are spot on service is friendly. I would highly recommend it.

I personally like this place. The food is good. They have multiple options of type of food. Casual place. Staff was friendly to me. I like Mexican food and got the combination plate, enchilada, tamale, taco, and tostada with Christmas chile. I was pleased with my plate. Chile was mild, but that's how's I like it. Overall, for me, it was a good experience.

What a find! Recommended by the RV Park staff. This place serves authentic New Mexican style food, complete with green or red chili sauce, or both. You bet, their salsa is fresh and homemade. We bought some to take back to Oregon with us. While both red nor green chili sauces have some heat, neither is too hot to handle.We avoided the chili relleno as the cheese is yellow American cheese not queso fresco. And although I asked for shredded beef in the taco, I got ground beef. Flavors of the meal are great.A big plus in our book: the beans were prepared pintos not refried with lard. We prefer pintos and they were delicious. And biggest surprise of all was true to life sopapillas! Akin to Indian fry bread but soft and fluffy and hollow! And served with honey! Haven't had real sopapillas since we were dating in Flagstaff.

We really like Mexican food and have traveled quite a bit, hence have eaten in many places. Today we stopped in Gallup and Don Diego’s was recommended at our hotel. This is some of the best Mexican we’ve ever had, seriously. Homemade corn tortillas were perfectly made. I had 1 beef and 1 chicken enchilada with beans and rice, and a sopa w honey for dessert. Everything was prepared and seasoned just the way we like.Generous portions, prompt service even on a busy Friday evening and reasonable prices.If we travel through Gallup again, we will definitely stop by again!!!Thank you’s to the staff and management!!

Greeted the minute we walked in.. very nice atmosphere.. friendly staff.. above all that the food was AMAZING. # 10’s and #1 combination plates were delicious.. everything was PERFECT. We really enjoyed our meals and the great service. To end our visit we had some sopapillas w honey… yummy!! Thank you for the wonderful service..
